When I was younger I about killed myself when a friend and I when out and got ripped on our bikes. I sold the bike. Last year when I bought my first Harley I made an agreement with myself and wife that I would not have even 1 drink and ride and have held to it. I even bought an 07 EG Classic last November and love it.

First off I love to drink on occassion. When I do, I don't take the bike. Take a car, and usually a cab home. If I do ride the bike, I don't drink more than 1 beer. Nothing wrong with one if its consumed over the space of a meal. Anymore than 1 tho, and your rolling the dice. And this is coming from someone who when I do go out drink 10 beers or sobefore I get a buzz....if you wanna drink heavily, stay home...

And how come all the HOG rides I see include stops at bars?? Isn't there any liabilty in that situation for HOG?? I see guys drinking at bars all the time and hopping on their bikes and just wonder why the heck they put themselves and others at risk???

Doesn't have to be happy hour, if I'm out with some buds and we want to stop for a couple...we do. Sometimes we make a day of it...ya know, titty bar poker runs and all..now we're not slammin' 3 or 4 at each stop but it could get that way

I do, I do, I do, I will have a few, you gotta just know your limit. It will only be a couple every hour or so. But as some said, some water and some time before ya take off will help. Ya just cant go and get silly.

I used to do sugar cubesor orange sunshine andride ( don't worry if you don't understand that it just means your young)so now if i settle for just a few beers thats actually a good thing
