Smoke

Smoke
Hi everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your summer. I have a question for ya. I have a 2005 Ultra classic 56000 miles on it. My girlfrind and I were headed back from an overnighter in Gunnison, CO. I think I may have pushed my bike too hard. We were going up Vail pass pulling a trailer with all our camping gear in it. I was right at 4000 rpm's for a steady 5 miles or so. Almost to the top of the pass a huge cloud of white smoke came out the pipes. We pulled into the rest area and there was oil dripping out of the air cleaner. I pulled the cover off and the filter and the intake were drenched with oil (thus, the smoke) so I cleaned it all up and we took off again. The bike ran fine. When we got home there was a little more oil in the filter and intake but no smoke. Did the oil just get too hot of did I blow something?

I'd clean things up real good, and keep an eyeball on it.
