My question is Why? Does it improve the ride? Do you have plans for that new space in front of the rear tire? Are you drag racing it? I'm not being a smartass, I'm genuinely curious.

'Question...are you going to do anything with the shocks to reflect your newly created geometry? To prevent undue sideload stress on your shock shafts and seals that could lead to premature failure you should measure and duplicate the original shock angle by either moving the top shock mount location rearward on the frame or the bottom shock mount location on the swingarm forward.

I've seen the extended swingarms on the metrics/crotch rockets but often wondered what kind of advantage there was if any. What's your reasoning for doing so? Post up more pics as you progress!

Yeah bro, put those pics back up! I wanna see them. The other day I saw two very hot rice burners with custom paint jobs and both had chrome extended arms and fat tires, Truly attention getter's.
