Default 2006 1200 Custom Tire Pressure

Hey folks,

Sorry for the stupid question....have misplaced the manual for my GF's 06 1200Custom.

What is the front/rear tire pressure?

Thanks,

Kevin

Solo - 30-Front 36-Rear * applies to the stock Dunlop 401/402 tires only.

Like any tire, go off the PSI rating on the tire!

Sorry, but that is a misconception. The pressure listed on the sidewall is a max pressure when the tire is used at or near the tires max gross weight. The same rear Sporty tire is used on some of the touring bikes which carry a heavier load and thus have a different "recommended" operating psi. Just as the rear tire has a different recommended pressure when running 2up vs solo.

Nope....that's why I asked. I don't have my manual. Rating on tire is max...

What pressure are you guys running when 2 up? Just the rear tire or both evenly increased?

cHarley, what pressures do you run Metz ME880's two up? All I can remember is you said to run them near max.
