Default Pull back Risers for 2012 Fatboy

I need some pull back risers on my new 2012 Fatboy. When I asked the local HD parts guy about them, he said none of the risers would work on my Fatboy because they would "hit" the speedometer on end to end turns of the handlebars. Is this true???

I was looking at the HD 4" pull back risers, 56269-09, but don't want to get them if I'm going to damage the speedometer housing on a full turn of the bars.

Thanks,
David

I have the 6" pullback risers on mine with no issues. The parts guys will tell you they wont work either. If they wont work, why are they selling them? I think there are a few guys that have the 4" risers, maybe they will chime in.

I have those risers sitting in my garage...I bought them off of a guy with a fatboy but it wasn't a 2012. They are in perfect condition and will sell them to you for less then half price if you determine they will work for you. Just PM me if you want them

Don't know about the 2012, but I have a 2010 FatBoy with the 4" pull back risers and it's not an issue.

If you do it, also get the urathane bushings to replace the rubber ones...big difference!

Default 201 Fatboy lo1

Have the 4" curved risers on my 2011 Fatboy Lo, doesn't hit the speedo. If you have a tank lift it would hit. Also did the poloy bushing, really like the set up, made it alot more comfortable for me. No issue with most of the cables, i have ABS and the brake line is a little tight but still works fine and isn't causeing any damage

I put the 4" risers on my 07 FB and they worked fine with no issues. no need for new cables or wire extensions either. I did have to straighten out one of the curves in the brake line though for enough length.. no biggie though.

PS, make sure you cover your frt fender with a thick towel or old sweat jacket when replacing the risers... don't ask why i know this.. DOH !!!!!

I have the 4" pullbacks on my 09 and there are no hitting issues. Gave me just the right amount of pullback with my stock bars.
