Default Best Performance Pipes

Hi everyone,

So after figuring out that the oil pump was broken and caused damage to my motor, I decided to take advantage of the motor being open and do some upgrades to it. After talking with the guys at my local HD dealership, They told me the only way to not have my extended warranty voided would be by doing an engine upgrade with Screamin' Eagle parts. I was told here by forum members to ask them to provide this in writing and they did without a problem. But again, its their liability and if I move or go to another dealership it may not be guaranteed.
Well with that being said, I know that there are other kits that are definetely better but they would have voided my extended warranty.
I decided to go with the 103 Inch Stage III Screamin' Eagle Kit. I currently have Vance & Hines Big Shot Longs and the A/C from Fuel Moto.
I believe that the V&H BSL are not the best performance pipes and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations.
I was thinking of possibly upgrading my pipes in order to get more out of the mods that I am doing to the engine.

Should I just keep these pipes for now and see how it goes?

Extra Info: Bike is a 2009 Fat Boy with V&H BSL pipes with BCT Baffles, Fuel Moto A/C, PC V (which is now going to be replaced by the SE race tuner), custom cycle controls handlebars, LA Jockey Shift, and a crap load of chrome.

Any thoughts?

Regards,

Thunderheader is hard to beat. I like the V&H propipe too.Your not racing though so really any 2 into 1 pipe will be good enough.

You need some type of 2 into 1 pipe if you want maximum power out of your build. D&D fatcat, Bassani Road Rage, Vance and Hines Propipe, etc etc etc. I ran the fatcat for a while and really dug it. I think they make some of the finest exhuasts around. Pm or email me for pricing on any and or all of these. A good 2 into 1 with the build is a necessity in my opinion.
