Hi,
first of sorry if this question has already been posted (I couldn't find answer on the forum and internet).
I have a 07 nightrain with Vance and Hines exhaust with quiet baffles no map, and recently when firing her up, I hear a "terrible" explosive sound.
Does anyone know where this come from (this wasn't there before) and how can I fix this?

sounds like an intake leak,or your dumping raw gas in the pipes

 

Intake lean can be checked easy.

Need a tuner TTS or SEST, or like that, to cut cranking fuel at the temperatures you see this kind of cranking result.

Tunners are the new screwdrivers for Fuel Injection.

 

now it stopped...
however could this be due to a gas tank that has been too overfilled ( when I did the filling that day, I have filled too much with gas).

Fouled plug has made my old Heritage sound like a shotgun. Neighbors actually called LEOs.
