Default Thunderheader Exhaust

I am doing a Stage 1 upgrade on my 2011 Fat Boy Lo. My exhaust is the Thunderheader 2 in 1. Exhaust went in fine but I am having issues with the heat shields. It seems it requires a ton of force to place them and I don't want to ruin the pipes. Anyone have any issues with this and have any solutions?

Thanks!

I am taking a guess at what you are trying to say.... Hope this helps, as it worked for me. Try installing the collector heat shield while the pipe is off the bike. Then partially / loosely install the other two on the head pipes. Just barely get the straps started, and let them hang loosely. Install the pipes, then push the shields into place where you want them, and hold with one hand and tighten with a screwdriver in other hand.
