I have a 2005 Road King Classic. This past Sunday I rode on a memorial escort with my flashers on. When I turned my flashers off the left turn signal indicator and lights (from and rear) stayed illuninated but will not flash. I look in the service manual but could not find anything in the electrical schematic that would indicate what could be causing the probelm. I checked the fuses but I did not check the bulbs. The right turn signal works properly. I guess I should check the bulbs but they are illuminated so I don't think it is a bulb issue. It problem is a simple fix, any suggestions?
Sounds like a turn signal-4 way flasher-controller failure. The module might have failed when you switched off the 4-way flash. This is a simple fix, but the controller will cost money.
i meant flasher module or relay or what ever you call it where the wires plug into it, if it is burnt out they will stay on, if it is a fuse nothing will happen, if it is a bulb your dash light will blink rapidly
if you find it is the TSM - i have one from an 07 that works great. i replaced mine when troubleshooting an issue. turned out to be a ground. bought a new TSM during the process - expensive ground. the part number is 68920-07. if it fits and you want it - pm me for some haggling
