Agreed!
I've got BB solo (foam) on my 02 Night Train and I'm really happy with it. It's hard and really not comfortable, but that's not the look and feel I'm looking for. Got a Mustang seat for longer drives, but I still haven't used it.
The Lepera BB solo is GREAT! Love the look and lives with the feel

Had a Bare Bones (no gel) for a couple years now...longest one day trip with seat was just under 400 miles.
It was pretty brutal on the bungholeo...had to make a few stops, and a road soda or two helped out...but in the end, the look is well worth it IMHO.
I've sat on a BB Gel, and it didn't fell much different than mine.
I've got about 12,000 miles down on my Bare Bones...still looks good, it's help up well for a fairly low priced seat.

I put a Bare Bones with gel on a couple weeks ago. I thought my prostate was the ball in a ping pong tournament. It took a few hundred miles, but it has settled in nicely, and I don't notice anything now, break in of my butt or the seat or both I guess.
I have not had it out on trip longer that 30 minutes or so without stopping. When I ride it, I do feel, uh, well exercised, but nothing painful.
I got the P pad also, and I notice that my back rests against that some, so it is better (for me) than the solo.
I'm very happy with it so far.
