Default Rear Tail Light Harness

As some of you may have seen by a previous post I made I recently did some work on the rear of my '08 FLHTC and while there discovered that the rear tailight harness which is attached to the underside of the rear fender was chewed out pretty bad by the tire when the bike was bottoming out badly.
I taped everything up and did the best I could but would like to replace the harness and do it right.
I go to my "trusty" dealer's parts guy and he informs me I have to buy basically the entire wiring harness and it's $588.00 ...
So I come back home and check the harness (from the underseat plug to the rear tailight) and get a part number #68772-06 which goes for $19.20!!
Now before I can believe this does anyone has or knows where can I get a diagram of the harness part #68772-08?

Greatly appreciated and maybe Dawg or Doc can help me on this one also.

Later guys.

I have an 09 Ultra and the 09 Service manual. It's figure B-27 in the manual. The rear harness is the same as yours 68772-06, with 6 pins. The tail lamp has a 4 pin connector (type 93B-93A) with Black (Ground pin #4), Red/Yellow(Brake light pin #3), Orange/White( Running light HDI (International) pin#2) and Blue/White(Running light DOM (Domestic) pin#1).

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner

What else do you want to know?

I have had this happen on a couple of different bikes. Just pulled the harness loose, cut out the bad spots, soldered in new wire where needed, wrapped in electrical tape, and then covered with flexible plastic conduit. Still working.

Or do it right and get the connectors from either the dealer or Namz and replace the entire damaged wire, crimp on new connectors and be as good as factory.

Because I did the same thing, (rubbed the wires bare, repaired as above) Iam considering rerouting them outside the fender like the 2010 SG/RG and curing the problem!

According to this parts guy they don't sell just that part I would have to buy basically the entire wiring harness!!! ...needless to say I quietly and hurriedly walked away and won't go back, what a joke ...$588.00!! ..musta been smokin' some really good chit.
Anyway I'd rather replace than repair as theres about a 8"~9" piece of the protective sheath missing.

Dawg ..is the area I circled in red the harness/wire snake from the underseat plug to the rear tailight? Would this "wire snake" be part #68772-06?
Also this wire snake is inside a plastic protective sheath under the rear fender I'm assumming this sheath is glued to the fender as I see no clips or fasteners.

Yeah... Mine was held in with double sided tape. When I changed my tins, I made sure I brought it inside where it was warm before I put it on. Havent had any problems with mine coming loose.
