I am guessing it would be V-Rods #1 and Sportster 1200's #2, but then what would be #3? By fastest I mean 0-60 or 1/4 mile times rather than 60 MPH roll-ons, etc. I know big bore kits and stage 1's and screamin eagle CVO's would muddy these waters, so I thought I'd just ask about bikes in stock form. Although it would also be interesting to see how those mods would affect the rankings.

I'm not knocking Harley's, as I currently own 6 of them and have owned nothing but Harley's since back in 1970, but "fast" is only a term that doesn't mean very much when it's in reference to a Harley Davidson.

As the saying goes;

"Harley Davidson, the most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower"....

The liquid cooled V-Rods are pretty fast in my opinion. Not saying they are the fastest bikes out there, but I think they are the fastest Harleys. They should put up a good race in short straight shots I would think.

 

Riding a Harley, as said before is not about it being the fastest. It's the rumble and the ride. Although I will say that I've ridden with some larger cc bikes that didn't seem to be any quicker than the 96B
