I asked the guy that did my 1200 conversion for me because i was considering it also.He told me that it would be around 5000 dollars to do it so i decided 1200 was big enough for me.
If I had 5000 dollars I'd just trade in for a big twin instead of engine work !
Personally i'd probly invest in a 1200-1250 kit with a bunch of headwork, cams...bla bla bla to get ya in 100hp range. But anyhow if you wanna look into some of the larger kits, check out xlforums.net and join the forum there, there's a bunch of guys over there that have done larger kits with a lot posts with the details on what exactly what they did.

My 96 has the 90 inch conversion i didnt build it i bought it that way....no problems in a thoudand miles so far....plus wicked power.
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. You are a rare breed, owning a genuine 90". They occasionally get talked about in here, but I haven't seen anyone actually admit to doing it. Expect plenty of questions!
