Sorry to hear that. That must be really tough. If I thought it was COMPLETE superstition I wouldn't have one on at all! The bell was given by a friend and I'll keep it on. I may move it, but it stays on the bike! It's not coming off.

My wifes bell was too pretty to hide.. didn't want it picking up road grime down low either.... so&nbsp\\;I cross-drilled the small bolt that holds the front brake line bracket to the bottom of the lower triple-tree and mounted it there....

Lower front of the frame here too...

Here's the one I was given at Christmas.

My dad's got his hung on his handlebars. I guess it works there too.

Lower front frame for me too. I think the whole in that bracket was made for the bell, oh and my brother gave me mine.

Lower front frame for mine and SOs as well.&nbsp\\; He has three on his bike.&nbsp\\; I have one on the bike - Gift from the SO, one in my jacket pocket -from a Blessing of the Bikes (but I haven't gotten around to putting it on yet) and one that was given to me just last night by a lady I know who also rides.

I've never used them on any bike I've owned.....

But I do throw a few grains of salt over my shoulder before going for a ride.&nbsp\\;
