I think I am going to need a new front fender. I tried messing with this one, but it just won't sit right. I'm thinking it might be warped. I'm debating on whether to get an entirely new set of tins when it's time to return the bike back to it's original color.

 

This will be it for a while. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I still think it would look sweet with apes, but the stock style bars are pretty comfortable so I will leave it alone for a while.

Not sure what I'm going to do next, but here's a list of things that I want to do sooner than later:

- new front rim
- progressive 422s (it's sitting real high right now!)
- S&S Super E
- EV 27 cam and bearing
- get that 2-1 pipe I have powder coated and slapped on
- send the badlander seat into mean city cycles for a nice "custom" fit


Things I'll be doing later:

- Paint the bike it's original color
- repaint the frame and front end
- 6 speed gear set to replace the 5 speed

 

Hey guys, been awhile since I've been in here. Sitting in Afghanistan and I had a question. Will the stock throttle cables work on the S&S carbs? I changed the bars and I need to order shorter cables. Thanks-Jesse

 

Ok guys, I got the cable thing sorted out. Now I am looking for a set of red tank badges. I'm repainting the old girl and the blue badges wont look right.
