It's kind of a big job. You have to remove the inner and outer primary, clutch, and starter. The only specialy tool you need is something to hold the primary chain stable while you unbolt the clutch and stator. You can buy a special tool from HD, J&P, or wherever. I went down to the used sporting goods store and bought an old hockey puck. I cut that down to the width of the chain and jammed it in there.
