RE: black fork sliders.
I just put lower legs on mine.Got them for $290.00 that included shipping, off e-bay.They are identical to the ones in the J&P catalog.Had to buy a caliper adapter from V-Twin for $60 so I could use my stock caliper.$10.00 for fork oil another $15.00 for fork seals.

..HD has them $249..or you can get your stock ones black powdercoated for about $100...find a friend who changed out to chrome, borrow hisold lowers and get powder coated..give him yours after you install powdercoated ones. There is someone on this site that powdercoats and sells sets on e-bay.

100 bucks is pricey, shop some local pc' rs, some of the guys localy by me would do a set of lowers for about 40 buck tops. And if your into it prep them for polish, ie: sand down all the factory cast marks, smooth hard edges, go about it like you were going to polish them, then send them out, the pcr' will just give them a good bath and coat them, also go for a two coat, first color, then a high gloss clear on top of it.
