Ultra, If your not doing anything on June 12th. Get a group together and come on up to Pottsville for the bike show I was telling you about at Texas Roadhouse. It runs from 2-6 and there be plenty of food and beverages available. Along with vendors and some nice bikes.

Hey friends thanks for checking in, I know my story and the loss of J. Robert Miller effected many on here at different levels.

I am ok I still go to the Dealership weekly as one of my stop as part of my business (he bought his bike their), and it is very rare that as I am pulling in I say out loud "OH ROBERT"...I miss him and wish more for myself, but he is one man I don't think ~ is going to be easily replaced as a new best bud and equivalent rider. However, I am moving on well...Ride Freeee.

    Tim-

Sorry I missed your ride over the weekend. I didn't see your PM until yesterday.... I don't carry my cell often... mostly when in the car or on the bike.

Next time you want to ride give me a call at home........ 717-642-9802.

    Tim-

I've only been a member of the HD Forum for about a month. I just read your thread about the loss of your friend.
What an incredible friendship you guys had. Most men would give anything for a friendship like that.
You have shown what kind of man you are by the way you have honored your friend, his memory, and his Family. I can only hope that when I leave this earth to go Home one day that I have a freind like you to see me off.

It would be a pleasure and an honor, yes an honor, to me you in OC later this week to shake your hand and have a beer with you in honor fo your friend.
I know there are probably dozens of guys from the Forum that are going to do the same so I understand if this isn't possible.
I'm heading down Thursday evening after work.

PM me if you would like to try and meet up.

I'm also from Pa....... Just a few miles west of Gettysburg. Maybe we can get together for a ride in the near future.

    Peace-

    Mike

I too lost a very dear friend of mine. He was killed by a drunk driver several years ago while walking on the sidewalk. I am not a religeous person by any means but do feel that he has in a way become a guardian for me. I know that you dont know me and some of this may sound or seem odd...but I do know he (Mike) is there at times with me in both good and bad. He may not be here physically, but I am comforted by the fact that he is with me spiritually. Upon hearing of his death, I was mad and wanted to do nothing but crucify the guilty. This passed over time and soon I found peace and acceptance. Not that this made it any less painfull. Before I knew it, I discovered that a relationship was developed on a different level and it became my crutch.
My friend Mike I feel was very much like your friend. A true friend. I just turned 48 and can count my true friends on one hand. Your friend will always be with you bro and I am sure that within due time, you too will discover and renew your relationship with him just on a different level.
Be strong for his family as they need you now more than ever. They will look to you in a way that no most other people dont. I still to this day will sit and cry like a child at times due to his departure. No drug or alcohol can replace the feeling after one of these moments. Dont get me wrong, I love my Crown Royal and Ginger ale and have experienced almost every drug known to man. But nothing can replace a good cry. I do not buy into the macho BS. I do what works for me.
I hope this will help in some way. And always remember...you now have someone beside you that knows you better than anyone. Talk to him, you may just find that he is listening.
Again, you may find this weird or think that I am some "hippie nature freak"cultish believer or religeous fanatic. I am not. I am just a regular guy that went through what you are going through now and know how you feel. I just want to pass on what works for me.
    Ride safe my friend
