A quick release setup on my `1995 Road King. Pic took after a run out to Big Bend. Not a problem. Oops. Did not notice that this thread was 10 years old.

It doesn't matter, I don't get all out of shape if people answer an old post...unlike some on here...

One of my countless upcoming projects is to install an HD detachable mount and aftermarket TP on my 98. The photo is from April 5 -- mild winter, but slow spring.

One of the best things you can do is put a trunk on. The bike will get so much more use. Not having a trunk is PIA. Stuffing jacket in bags, especially if you got second person, hoodie, gloves.

Default King Tour pack 1996 Road King

I have been searching for a way to mount a king tour pack directly to my 1996 Road King. I found a site that sells the mounting bracket and hardware. Go to http://www.eglidegoodies.net/ Search the website.

I’ve been across the USA and Canada, to Alaska and 38 states on one trip, two up. when I go solo I use the rack, sissy bar and TBag, but two up and in winter, the trunk is such a luxury.

Somewhere in Utah

leaving Norman, OK for Illinois

It stopped raining in the Yukon

Mackinaw Bridge

Yeah, the trunk is handy.
